Have you ever wondered what all those buttons do on your oven? Or what do the all the other buttons do on your TV remote? My guess is yes but you could never be bothered to spend the time to learn them. This app enables you to set those challenges to yourself and also create rewards for completing those challenges. Another example might be to replace the bulb in the lobby and you might give yourself 300 ponts for doing that. You can create rewards and set the amount of points required to claim those rewards, this gives you a personal insentive to complete the challenges. Ofcourse you can cheat if you like and say that you have completed the task even though you haven't, that is where the motivation is required. But the satisfaction of knowing how to properly use the remote control on your TV or setting the clock on your oven is a testiment to your efforts and working towards a reward like for example going to the cinema.
You could set yourself the challenge of building a rocket and landing on Mars, this is entirely up to you but I would probably suggest setting yourself realistic tasks. Recently I set myself the challenge of doing 4 hours on the cross trainer within one day and I was so pleased with myself that I completed it and I felt really good.
The Application can be download below:
This is version 1 and there might be some bugs, I am still learning C++!
Please note that you will likely get a Smart Screen Warning, this is because I haven't gotten the program digitally signed yet.
You are able to Run the program anyway.
I have tested on Windows 10 PC's and the program is working fine.
